It’s been a year since I was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa (restrictive subtype)  
A year between these two photos & my eating disorder is STILL something that I’m fighting every day 🥊
.
On the days where it’s especially tough, I make comparison photos to remind myself just how far I’ve come. 
I don’t share this for likes, for followers or for your sympathy.
I share this to EMPOWER myself and anyone else in my position.
.
I also share this to pay homage to the girl on the left. 
To say sorry for the terrible things I put her through. But also to say “thank you” for having the strength to FIGHT to survive & to transform into who I am today. 🦋

If you’re reading this and you feel like giving up. Don’t. 
Look at how far you’ve come.
Remember why you’re doing this.
Keep going.

KEEPING FIT WHILE TRAVELLING 🧳
I had a BLAST at @melbournecentralhotels, but still managed to keep my fitness & nutrition in check 
.
I strongly believe that life is about balance 🧘‍️
So although I was more relaxed about my routine than I usually am, I made sure to still treat my body right so that I didn’t feel lethargic, bloated or tired and instead could ENJOY my holiday! ️
-
If you’re going away soon, here are some tips that I love to incorporate whilst travelling.
-
1️⃣ Bring healthy snacks 
2️⃣ Use the hotel gym (the gym at @melbournecentralhotels was epic!!), or sign up for a free trial at a nearby gym ‍️
3️⃣ If you’re eating out, check the menu to see if they have options that suit your diet before going  
4️⃣ Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated 
⁣⁣5️⃣ Incorporate lots of physical activity into your daily routine - walk to places instead of driving, do lots of hikes, go cycling to explore the city ‍️‍️
6️⃣ Most importantly, ENJOY YOURSELF. 
RELAX and don’t stress too much if you’re not as strict with your routine or diet.
You’re on holiday and you deserve some time off! ️ ⁣⁣
