HOLY SMOKES! What a difference a year can make!  The picture on the left was taken a year ago today- I was on a cruise with my girlfriends to celebrate my 23rd birthday. I remember feeling so insecure and having my attention focused on how much I hated my body rather than enjoying myself and having a good time. I am so grateful to have started my journey and worked this hard to get to where I am today. Time goes by regardless of the choices youโ€™re making, so you might as well make healthy ones  If you start today, you will thank yourself. ABS WORKOUT 2.0 . M
I got surprised how sore I am after this workout, canโ€™t sneeze or laugh . I did to failure on all the exercises and pushed myself through some extra reps even when I was tired and it certainly PAYED OFF . .
1๏ธโƒฃ Start with the plank position and lift your arm up, stop for a second and go slowly back again. x 4 sets. .
2๏ธโƒฃ Use a filled bag or some heavy books on your legs as weight if you donโ€™t have a baby . Do short but fast repetitions to keep the balance x 4 sets. .
3๏ธโƒฃ This one is definitely a new favorite. Pull the band to the opposite leg with straight arms and exhale. Inhale again at the start position and repeat to failure x 4 sets. .
4๏ธโƒฃ This one is EVEN BETTER Keep one arm still and try to touch the leg with the other arm while youโ€™re crunching the abs. And make sure your arm is straight x 4 sets. .
5๏ธโƒฃ Stand in the plank position with a shoulder wide foot position. It will help you to keep the balance. Touch your opposite shoulder with the band in your hand. ( Youโ€™ll get some pump in your biceps  ) x 4 sets. .
6๏ธโƒฃ This one is easy but heavy at the same time. Try to kick your knee on the elbow as fast as you can to failure x 4 sets . .
7๏ธโƒฃ And this one is heavier than it looks. Static training for the abs. Touch your calves with your feet up in the air x 4 times. .

Every rep, every set and every workout Iโ€™ve finished. 
Every prep of those boring repetitive meals.
Every piece of chicken or lean ground meat Iโ€™ve ate instead of something Iโ€™ve craved. 
And you know what else counts?
30-15=15!
Thatโ€™s the bodyfat percentage Iโ€™ve lost in a year.
I went from obese to fitness on the fat percentage chart and I am so proud of myself!
My hard work, my consistency, discipline, dedication and sacrifice payed of.
Instead of feeling sorry for myself I did what had to be done. I stfu and lifted!
I rebuild a body that was destroyed from the trauma of childbirth. I rehabilitated myself from not being able to walk to squatting almost double my own body weight. I built myself up one step at the time while being a mother to an infant! 
I cried, I screamed, I felt hopeless and I wanted to give up a million times. I hit plateaus, I injured myself, I fought postpartum depression and the immense grief of losing my brother. I went through it all! But I didnโ€™t give up! I stood consistent because I knew it was just a battle with time, nothing else..
